Undergraduate Research Posters
Spring 2023 found three undergraduate students working on research projects in the herbarium. Sean Gaffney, Zoe Schaefer, and Emily Brown each imaged, databased, and georeferenced a set of specimens and presented research posters at the end of the semester. Come see their posters hanging in the herbarium!
The Move!
Spring 2023 finds us moving the Ownbey Herbarium to a new location in another building to prepare for the eventual removal of Heald Hall. As of March, we completed boxing the collection, and as of May they have nearly completed rennovation of the space and installation of the compactors. If all stays to schedule, we will be fully reopened by the end of the summer!
